10/03/2023      Rutherford County has lifted its burn ban as of this morning. 

Residents should remember that open burning permits are required through the TN Department of Forestry beginning October 15th.

Commercial open burning (land clearing, large pile sizes, tec.) require permits at all times in Rutherford County.
